Long Term Opportunity for Radiologist with flexible schedule needed in North Carolina!We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologist physician for locums coverage near Durham, NC. This opportunity is ideal for both general diagnostic imaging and mammography. This position is based in an acute care hospital setting, offering an enriching professional experience. Details Start Date: June ongoing Schedule: Onsite, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The role includes day, night, and weekend shifts. This position offers a flexible schedule, with the possibility of remote work for candidates already licensed in North Carolina, provided they are available for weekend and overnight shifts. Travel and lodging support is available, ensuring a smooth transition for the right candidate. Remote Option: Available for candidates already licensed in NC Remote hours: Weekends + overnights (e.g., 5p???12a, 6p???2a, 12a???8a) Responsibilities The successful candidate will perform an array of radiological and light interventional procedures, including: Fluoroscopy: Supervising and assisting in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures (3-4/day). General Radiology: Conducting and interpreting routine imaging exams such as X-rays, CTs, and MRIs. Light Interventional Procedures: Performing non-complex procedures like image-guided biopsies, drainages, kyphoplasty, and PICC line placements (5-6/day). Mammography: Executing and interpreting 3D and digital mammography, breast ultrasounds, and conducting diagnostic procedures such as stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies. Requirements Board Certification in Radiology Active North Carolina State License Experience with EMR systems (Meditech), PACS (Change Healthcare), and dictation software (Fluency, PowerScribe One) Credentialing time frame: 4-6 weeks Join us in delivering exceptional radiological care in a supportive and dynamic environment.
