Mental Health Counselor Masters *Per Diem*- Providence Adolescent Residential Treatment at Providence Health and Services summary:

This position is for a part-time Mental Health Counselor with a master's degree, providing direct clinical care including therapy and treatment planning at Providence's Crisis Recovery Center in Anchorage, Alaska. The role involves working with adolescents in a residential treatment setting, coordinating with healthcare professionals, and delivering client and community education. Candidates must hold relevant licenses (LPC, LPA, or LCSW) and preferably have two years of clinical experience.

Description

Responsible for supporting all aspects of the clinical programming for the Crisis Recovery Center. Provides direct client care services in all assigned areas that includes assessment, treatment planning, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and milieu therapy. Plans and provides client, family, peer and community education and coordinates services with other health care professionals including interaction with physicians or ARNP responsible for the care of the client.

Position is p art-time position, 0.01 FTE, Variable, Hours Per Week as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work or health related field

Preferred Qualification:

• 2 years of Clinical experience
• Upon hire: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA), or Clinical Social Worker License (LCSW)
