As a Security Guard - Mall Patrol Unarmed in Dunn, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a retail distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with people throughout the site, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances, exits, and loading areas as required for the location.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Work collaboratively with location staff and local emergency services when needed to assist during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
