RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Position in Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Patient ratios of 1:5 for both day and night shifts (varies between units)
• Float to all inpatient Medical/Telemetry and Rehabilitation units
• Care for large cardiac population across 2 Telemetry floors and PCU
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Work with various medical equipment
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Must have minimum 2 years of strong Telemetry experience
• Chemo certification preferred for potential Oncology unit scheduling
• Must demonstrate flexibility and willingness to float between units
• Team player attitude and compassion required
• Opportunity to learn care for patients with varied medical issues both acute and chronic
• Work alongside RNs and CNAs on most units
• Position provides coverage for staff leave

This healthcare facility is a 345-bed medical center with Magnet designation, demonstrating excellence in nursing practice and patient care. The facility features multiple specialized units including Progressive Care, Telemetry floors, and Oncology services, providing comprehensive inpatient medical care.
