The Hospice/Palliative Medicine Physician will serve as the Medical Director for Pediatric Palliative Care, providing direct patient care, teaching, and consultative services. The role involves strategic leadership in managing care for children with complex, chronic life-limiting conditions and overseeing bereavement support programs. Candidates should have board certification, leadership experience, and post-residency clinical expertise.
Our client is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Palliative Care Pediatrician to serve as the Medical Director of the division of Pediatric Palliative Care. The Director will provide oversight, direct patient care, teaching and consultative services as a Palliative Care Pediatrician.
Annual Salary. Signing Bonus available, contact us for details. Residency/Fellowship Stipend possible. Relocation Bonus available. CME up to 3 weeks and $3,500 available. Up to 4 weeks of PTO available. 401K. Providing strategic leadership by working with the Pediatric and Geisinger leaders to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies for the care of children with complex, chronic life limiting conditions. Overseeing a bereavement support program for parents and siblings of children who have died Five years post residency experience is desired. Leadership experience as a Medical Director within an integrated delivery system is highly desirable.
