Position Highlights:Schedule: Monday Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
Call: Shared weekend echo/call rotation
Patient Volume: patients per day
Team Support: NP/PA assistance and strong nursing support
Outreach: Occasional travel to nearby critical access hospitals preferred
Work Environment: Collegial, collaborative, and well-supported practice
EMR: Fully integrated system
Evaluate and manage a broad range of cardiac conditions
Interpret EKGs, echocardiograms, cardiac nuclear imaging, stress echocardiography, and cardiac monitors
Perform and interpret cardioversion and TEE
Participate in cardiac rehab treatment planning
Educate patients and families on cardiac health, medications, and prevention
Collaborate with other medical specialties to ensure coordinated care
Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with practice standards
Board Certified or Eligible in Internal Medicine and Cardiology Required
Fellowship-trained in CardiologyRequired
Active Oregon medical license or willingness to obtainRequired
Nuclear and Echo CertifiedHighly Preferred
Clean malpractice historyRequired
Ties to Oregon (e.g., family in the area or prior residency) Preferred
