Dispatcher - Urbandale
Our client, in Urbandale is seeking a temporary Dispatcher to fill in for a leave of absence. As a Dispatcher, you will be operating communication systems, including trip scheduling software, utilizing phone and computer equipment to provide assistance in support of daily transit operations of demand response, on-demand and paratransit services. Will provide information and referrals to the public in response to service requests.

Our client, in Urbandale is seeking a temporary Dispatcher to fill in for a leave of absence. - Use specific transit technology to schedule customer trips.
- Contact customers with trip change information as necessary.
- Notify customers of trip cancellations due to eligibility funding change or schedule availability.
- Review, organize and maintain trip data to maximize service efficiencies.
- Provide radio/phone support to driver staff and address/resolve potential schedule issues.
- Dispatch experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent attendance and attention to detail.
- Must be able to pass a background and drug test.
- High School Diploma or GED.
