Job Details:
• Work in a high-acuity Level IV 56-bed NICU where APPs collaborate with physicians but oversee daily care of patients
• Position primarily requires nights and weekend shifts, with some day shifts available • Weekday shifts: 7am-5pm (day) and 4pm-8am (evening/night) • Weekend shifts: 7am-7pm (day) and 7pm-7am (evening/night)
• 24-hour shift options available any day of the week
• Work alongside 5-6 APPs during day shifts and 2-3 APPs during evenings/nights/weekends
• Perform ground and air transport duties after completing required orientation • Must be proficient with advanced procedures: PICC/UVC/UAC lines, chest tubes, lumbar punctures, intubations
• Typical patient load of 10 encounters per shift
• Orientation includes: 3 full day shifts (weekday), 2 evening/night shifts, and 2 weekend shifts • Complete 4 hours and 45 minutes of online EMR training before first day
• Transport orientation includes 2 one-hour online training courses and 45-minute in-person training
• PA license preferred, but candidates who have started the application process will be considered • BLS and PALS certification required
• Credentialing timeframe: 60-120 days
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
