Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a seasonal RN for a Cardiac Stepdown Telemetry position requiring at least one year of recent specialty experience and a current KS or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Cardiac Stepdown unit with a focus on telemetry patients
- Hospital setting with 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM
- Patient population includes cardiac stepdown cases requiring telemetry monitoring
- 13-week seasonal travel assignment
- Provide specialized nursing care for cardiac telemetry patients in a stepdown environment
- Thorough documentation and knowledge of cardiac monitoring required
- Seasonal position for travel nurses
Requirements
- Active KS or compact RN license required
- At least one year of recent cardiac stepdown or telemetry RN experience is required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification accepted from AHA or ARC
- No work history gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSNs are not accepted)
