Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Grade Level: K–6th
Caseload: 60–70 students
Setting: In-person, assigned to 2–3 school sites
Interview: Virtual interview required
Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) will provide occupational therapy services to students in a school setting. Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, conducting standardized assessments, collecting data, and documenting services in accordance with each student’s plan of care.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver occupational therapy services under OT supervision.
- Implement treatment plans and interventions.
- Collect and report standardized assessment data.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student success.
- Current certification/licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in California.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- One (1) year of experience as a COTA preferred.
- Pediatric experience strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with professional standards of practice.
- Current CPR certification (if applicable).
- TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable).
- Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Local Pay Rate: Up to $50/hour
- Travel Package: Approx. $2,260/week
- Bilingual candidates preferred but not required.
