The position is for a full-time Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist providing primarily inpatient care to adolescents ages 12-17 at a behavioral health hospital in Tucson, AZ. The role involves managing a sustainable caseload with optional involvement in partial hospital and intensive outpatient programs, offering a competitive salary, benefits, and no weekday call requirements. Candidates must hold an MD/DO, be board certified or eligible in child and adolescent psychiatry, and have or obtain an Arizona medical license.

We offer individualized, inpatient and intensive outpatient treatment programs for adults and adolescents.
- 84-bed freestanding behavioral health hospital
- Hospital provides care to adolescents ages 12-17 through adults
- Average Length of Stay = 6-7 days
- Levels of care: Acute and general inpatient, co-occurring disorders, detox, PHP, IOP, and medication management.
Position Details:
- Majority inpatient adolescent care for patients ages 12+.
- Optional adolescent PHP/IOP work is available if interested.
- Sustainable caseload of up to 15 patient encounters per day.
- Employed full time/W-2 or 1099 arrangements available.
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, days only.
- Call: No weekday call required.
- Weekends: Average 1:5 weekend rounding split amongst the team.

Requirements:
- MD/DO degree from an accredited program required.
- Board certified or board eligible child & adolescent psychiatry required.
- Arizona medical license or the ability to obtain an Arizona medical license.
- Meets all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians
