Key Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing therapeutic interventions under the supervision of a Physical Therapist for patient rehabilitation.
- Oversee and ensure comprehensive rehab programs to promote physical, psychosocial, and environmental well-being.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and facilitate patient discharge planning.
- Promote patient and caregiver independence by optimizing outside resources and support.
- Serve as a patient advocate to support care goals and recovery.
Required Qualifications
- NM state Physical Therapy Assistant license.
- High school diploma or GED.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Health and Safety.
- Minimum two years of current experience in the specialty.
- Successful completion of at least one 13-week travel assignment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be a team player.
