CVOR Surgical Technologist - Day Shift (3x12-Hour)
Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
ScheduleDay shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:30.
Job DescriptionThe CVOR Surgical Technologist will primarily work in the CVOR unit but may float to the Main OR as needed. The position requires proficiency in heart and lung transplant procedures, and candidates with kidney experience are highly preferred.
Responsibilities- Assist in surgical procedures including valve replacements, coronary artery bypass, TAVR, and dissection.
- Support various vascular cases such as Endovascular AAA, carotid endarterectomy, and trans carotid artery revascularization (TCAR).
- Participate in hybrid room procedures and ensure proper surgical techniques are adhered to.
- Perform scrubbing duties with attention to detail and maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
- Be available for on-call shifts, including weekends and weekdays as required.
- Minimum of 1.5 years of surgical technology experience required.
- Must possess scrub experience and proficiency in CVOR procedures.
- Active NJ or Compact license is required at the time of submission.
- BLS certification is required.
