Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide advanced practice care to neonates in a NICU environment
- Attend high-risk deliveries and C-sections
- Manage NICU patients in collaboration with attending physicians, fellows, and other advanced practice providers
- Participate in a team-based model: days, nights
- Coordinate with full subspecialty support
- Complete EMR documentation using Epic
- Adhere to all institutional protocols and evidence-based NICU guidelines
Additional Information
- Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
- Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in Maryland
- Neonatology board certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required
- Assignment does not include transport responsibilities
- Must be able to work independently without procedural training
