- Practice Setting: Family Medicine / Primary Care Outpatient Clinic
- Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM (Day Shift)
- Shift Duration: 8-hour days
- Hours per Week: 40
- Patient Volume: Average 20 adult patients per day
- Contract Length: 13 weeks, with potential for ongoing or locum-to-perm
- EMR: Cerner
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $7,100 - $8,410
Primary Care Physician Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (Primary Care Physician)
- Active New Jersey Medical License or ability to obtain before start date
- BLS Certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in adult outpatient care (Family Practice)
- Proficiency in EKG interpretation
- Experience performing disability exams (occupational medicine) preferred
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR preferred
- Experience in a primary care or outpatient clinic setting preferred
Primary Care Physician Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive adult outpatient care in a primary care clinic
- Interpret EKGs and perform disability exams as needed
- Document patient encounters using Cerner EMR
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care with no call, inpatient, or ED backup required
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
