Job Description
American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department assignment requiring current ACLS and BLS certifications and a MO or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Emergency Department (ED) of a hospital setting
- Night shifts (3x12 hours), 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Floating to other units required as needed
- Expected to work at least 50% of holidays during contract
- Weekend shifts are assigned
- Preferred EMR is Cerner
- Must be able to take call as needed
- Floating to different units may be required based on staffing needs
- Must be willing and able to work assigned weekends and at least half of contract holidays
- Local candidates are accepted within a 75-mile radius, typically at a reduced rate
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application
- Free onsite CPI Blue Card training available for those required
Requirements
- Active MO or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year in Emergency Department
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Must be able to fulfill the duration of assigned shifts and contract
- Cerner charting experience preferred but not required
