Lead an academic Hematology/Oncology division and build a new fellowship with faculty appointment and program-director protected time. Division Chief, full-time academic faculty role in Omaha, NE; 1.0 FTE Chief, .2 FTE Medical Director, .7 FTE clinical; opportunity to start Hem/Onc fellowship, engage in trials, tumor board, research; employed position with Creighton University/CHI Health; salary $475k–$600k. - Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology (MD/DO) - Minimum 7 years post-fellowship experience - Current rank of Associate Professor or higher - Board Certified in Internal Medicine - Ability to obtain Nebraska medical license and DEA; BLS required

Job Summary and Responsibilities

CHI Health Clinic and Creighton University are seeking AcademicHematology/OncologyDivision Chief.This is a full time employed position offering Faculty appointment with Creighton University and the opportunity to build a new fellowship program. The ideal candidate will provide patients and their families with access to the latest treatments and resources in a compassionate manner.

As the Division Chief:

• Build a new Academic Division of Hematology Oncology
• Start a Hematology/Oncology Fellowship; Program Director will have additional dedicated academic FTE
• Recruit new faculty to the program
• .1 FTE Academic/Chief; .2 FTE Medical Director; .7 FTE Clinical
• Possible opportunities for involvement with the Hereditary Cancer Center
• Faculty appointment with Creighton University School of Medicine
• Participate in Clinical Trials and Research
• Partner with Radiation Oncology
• Participate in weekly tumor board
• Comprehensive patient and family resources including genetics
• Large established Employed Primary Care referral base

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology with a minimum of 7 years experience post fellowship.
• Current rank of Associate Professor or higher
• Experienced with research and fellowship education
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine
• Ability to obtain Nebraska License

$475,000 - $600,000 /Year
