The Respiratory Care Practitioner provides specialized respiratory therapy services, utilizing up-to-date procedures to support critically ill patients. The role requires licensure and certification, including a degree from an approved respiratory care program and national/basic life support credentials. $10,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.
The respiratory therapist is a professional paramedical specialist. The therapist is required to have thorough knowledge of all modalities of respiratory care procedures. The therapist must always keep in mind the extreme critical nature of all respiratory care techniques and is required to maintain skill levels to reflect the ever changing procedures and techniques of respiratory care.

Required qualifications:
- Graduate of an AMA approved school for Respiratory Therapist.
- Upon hire: Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Within 90 days of hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
