Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage field production on kitchen and bath remodeling projects, ensuring quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Execute advanced carpentry tasks including custom cabinetry, flooring, vanities, and finish materials.
Attend pre-construction meetings with Production Manager and clients to review project scope and scheduling.
Conduct on-site project kickoffs with clients and sales team to ensure smooth hand-off and alignment on expectations.
Maintain and adjust project timelines; communicate effectively with subcontractors and suppliers to stay on track.
Report daily progress, challenges, and delays to the Production Manager through verbal updates, photos, or email.
Coordinate with the sales team on any customer concerns or requested changes.
Review and approve subcontractor invoices to confirm accuracy and completion of work.
Monitor the performance of carpenters and subcontractors, providing leadership and guidance.
Track project profitability, resource allocation, and schedule milestones to meet budget targets.
Maintain the professional image of KRB on all job sites.
Ensure necessary tools, materials, and safety equipment are present and operational.
Collect progress and final payments as assigned by the Production Manager.
Support marketing initiatives including client referrals, job site signage, and event participation.
Participate in training and seminars to stay current with industry techniques and trends.
Actively seek opportunities to grow within the company by demonstrating initiative and leadership.
Qualifications
Must have 5+ years of high-end carpentry experience- kitchen and bathroom experience is strongly preferred
Highly experienced in all aspects of carpentry; expert craftsmanship is desired
Ability to complete construction tasks with no supervision
Successful client communication skills
Ability to model and delegate work tasks to lesser skilled carpenters
Manages time efficiently to produce specific tasks aligned to set schedule
Proven ability to manage construction schedules, personnel, and budgets on high-end residential projects.
Proficient in blueprint reading, material takeoffs, and installation methods.
Strong communication and organizational skills; capable of leading teams and mentoring junior staff.
Skilled in using carpentry tools, layout systems, and construction software preferred.
Commitment to quality workmanship, client satisfaction, and job site professionalism.
Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
Authorized to work in the U.S.; able to pass a background check and drug screening.
Good physical condition with the stamina to meet the physical demands of the job.
