How you'll make an impact
- Executes all bid, performance, payment, and miscellaneous bonds in a timely manner which is consistent with state and federal law, company policies and procedures.
- Manages renewal of all miscellaneous surety bonds and contract surety bonds.
- Invoices all bonds and mediates billing disputes. Collects premiums that remain unpaid for more than 60 days.
- Keeps all information pertaining to financial year end statements, interim statements, bank lines of credit, insurance certificates, and personal financial statements for owners up-to-date.
- Handles all general correspondence and maintain a working relationship with clients and underwriters.
- Executes indemnity agreements.
- Works with Surety Account Managers to develop company-wide surety procedures and establish practical surety policies.
- Follows company procedures with respect to all essential duties and responsibilities of the job.
- Provides sales support at the direction of the Producer. This includes assisting in selling and marketing in coordination with all Agency personnel involved in new or existing business.
- Other duties as assigned.
About You
- Required: Bachelor's degree with 3+ years client service and/or claims management experience -OR- High School degree/GED with 8+ years client service and/or claims management experience. Property & Casualty License. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Appropriate licensing as required.
- Preferred: Previous insurance knowledge and experience managing client relationships. Solid financial acumen.
- Behaviors: Proficient in using technology as a tool to maximize productivity and quality. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortably engages others in consultative discussion. Effectively manages/balances multiple and sometimes competing priorities. Works in a self-directed manner.

We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
