This facility is seeking a General Surgery Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details and requirements for this opportunity:
- Schedule: February 13, 2026, Ongoing
- Practice Setting: Inhouse/Hospital
- Types of Cases: Call only, able to cover gastrointestinal cases and ideal to have (ERCP) Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography coverage as well.
- Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days, Clear background for expedited privileging
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic
- Certifications Required: Board Certified, Board Eligible, Fellowship required.
- Licensure Required: Texas State Medical License
Facility LocationTwo hog farmers, in 1957, started to subdivide their land and begin selling their lots for residential housing and so a new development by the name of Harker Heights came to be, complete with its own shops and restaurants. The name was a mix of the original landowners name Harley Kern. The city is located close to Ford Hood; a US army facility that was created in the 1950's and so most of the residents of Harker Heights are engaged in some type of economic activity related to that army post.
