Shift: 24-hour call (8a 8a), 1:6 weekday and 1:6 weekend

Position Details:
Patient Population: OB and GYN (60% low-risk OB, 40% high-risk OB, 10% GYN)
Setting: Hospital call
Responsibilities: OB call coverage including deliveries and GYN surgeries
Required Procedures:

• Routine vaginal deliveries, low forceps, C-sections (including complicated)

• VBACs

• Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations

• High-risk OB management (abruptions, breech, multiple births)

• OB ultrasounds (Level I, screening, and interpretation)

• Cervical cerclage, chromopertubation, diagnostic and operative laparoscopies, LOAs

• Surgical gynecology (open procedures including ectopic, cystectomy, ovary removal)
  EMR System: Epic
  Support Staff: Laborist, midwife, hospital nursing staff
  Days Per Month: As scheduled (1:6 weekday and 1:6 weekend call)
  On-Call/Weekends: Yes 24-hour weekday and 48-hour weekend call

Submission Requirements:

• Board Certification REQUIRED

• Pennsylvania Medical License REQUIRED

• Advanced Fetal Monitoring REQUIRED

• OB/GYN procedural experience REQUIRED
