What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unwanted behavior and/or security-related incidents.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and location personnel regarding security-related matters and observations.
• Utilize proper protocols for handling weapons in accordance with Allied Universal and location-specific guidelines, maintaining readiness to respond appropriately when necessary.
• Complete required reports and documentation related to patrols, incidents, and daily activities as directed by Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military roles.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent such as a GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
