Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• 4x10 hour shifts per week schedule
• 13-week assignment duration
• 1.5+ years of CT experience required
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Sciences required
• ARRT and CT certification required
• BLS and CPR certification required
• Perform basic CT procedures including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures
• Perform venipuncture for injections and operate power injector
• Administer IV contrast as ordered by physician
• Perform 3-D reformats on scanner/workstation
• Work with GE 16 slice Brightspeed in ER, GE 64 slice VCT in main department, and GE 16 slice Optima 540
• Provide coverage for inpatient, outpatient, and ER studies
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Monthly department volume of approximately 2,420 studies
• Knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, and cross-sectional anatomy required

This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive imaging department providing diagnostic services for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients. The facility maintains modern CT equipment including multiple GE scanners and operates with high patient volumes, handling over 2,400 studies monthly. The imaging department works under the direction of radiologists and follows established departmental protocols to ensure quality patient care and timely diagnostic services.
