Overview:Sentara is hiring Radiation Therapist at Norfolk General Hospital, in Norfolk, Virginia.Sign on Bonus up to $15,000 offered for qualified candidates!Shift: Full time, first shift Overview Job Description Provide radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist according to established practices and standards. Duties may include reviewing prescription and diagnosis; acting as liaison with physician and supportive care personnel; preparing equipment, such as immobilization, treatment, and protection devices; and maintaining records, reports, and files.
Education - Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology REQUIRED
Certification/Licensure - Required to pass boards within 6-months of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required within 90-days of hire
