Job Details:
• Work on 4W Surgical Transplant, a mixed stepdown and acute care floor
• Care for post-surgical kidney, liver, and pancreas transplant patients
• Provide care for pre-transplant patients undergoing evaluation during inpatient stay
• Monitor patients closely for infection, rejection, and ensure timely medication delivery
• This is NOT a PACU position
• 1 year of nursing experience required
• Stepdown/PCU experience required
• Travel experience required
• Transplant experience preferred
• Current RN License issued by Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or multistate compact RN License (eNLC) required
• Current Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Assume responsibility for assigned group of patients
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and medical treatments
• Assist physicians with examinations and diagnostic procedures
• Monitor physiological data and intervene when necessary
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Initiate, regulate, and monitor IV infusions and blood products
• Interact with families regarding care plans and discharge planning
• Make referrals to appropriate personnel for patient care needs
