New Llano, Louisiana 3-Month Assignment (Potential to Extend) Opportunity Overview: We are seeking a Board-Certified or Truly Board-Eligible Neurosurgeon for a locum tenens role at a Level II trauma center in Louisiana. This position offers a meaningful opportunity to support critical neurosurgical services in a high-acuity setting, backed by a dedicated hospital team. Position Overview Duration: 3 months, with the potential for ongoing needs Practice Setting: Hospital Schedule: 12 shifts per month, including unassigned ER coverage and inpatient census Daily Volume: Approximately 10 patients Patient Type: Inpatient On Call: Call coverage required Support Staff: Facility staffing support provided, no mid-level support Charting/Dictation: eClinical Works Responsibilities Provide 24-hour unassigned ER call coverage Conduct inpatient consults for a Level II trauma center Perform post-operative clinic duties for surgical cases Qualifications Current State Medical License Board Certification or Truly Board Eligible DEA/CSR Certification Experience in a trauma center is preferred We are committed to creating a diverse environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
