Senior Medical Assistant w/Limited X-ray License - Carson

Under the direct medical supervision of a physician, the MA with Limited X-ray License implements delegated aspects of care and assists in both direct and indirect patient care and routine diagnostic radiographic services.

Required Qualifications:

• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 2 years Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting.
• 2 years Experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment, including handling confidential data with discretion.
• 6 months Working experience in a PSJH clinic within the last 3 years.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program with an externship (Applied learning). Or
• Coursework/Training Has completed medical training in the United States Armed Forces. Or
• Coursework/Training Has worked as a Medical Assistant in a clinic environment for at least six months. Or
• Upon hire: National Medical Assistant Certification.
