Requirements
Board Certified (No BE); IM/FM accepted with 2+ years recent ED experience
Michigan License required at time of clear (No IMLC)
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
Must be local
Clean malpractice history

Required Procedures/Skills
Airway management
Central Line
Arterial Line
EKG interpretation
Lumbar puncture
Paracentesis
Suturing of minor lacerations
Orthopedic care (non-displaced fractures)
Incision & Drainage
Arthrocentesis
Ventilation management (establishing & maintaining airway; various modes for up to 24 hours without pulmonary consult)
Evaluation & management of acute volume/BP issues
Adult Outpatient
Pediatric-General Outpatient
Newborn resuscitation
Diagnosis & management of common industrial-related medical problems
EM-related procedures

Additional Notes
Patient Volume: Approx. 80 patients/day; 1.8 patients/hour per physician
Support Staff: APP coverage (12 hours), full ED nursing/tech support, radiology, and lab
EMR: Cerner
