Our client, a leading manufacturer in the aerospace and industrial sectors, is seeking a CNC Machine Operator/Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Machine Operator/Machinist, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality, which will align successfully in the organization. This is a direct hire opportunity.
Job Title: CNC Machine Operator/Machinist (DIRECT HIRE)
Location: Hanover, PA
Pay Range: $27.83/hour plus $0.75/hour shift differential
Shift:
- 2nd shift: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
- 3rd shift: Monday to Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM (Sunday night start-up)
- 4th shift: Friday 11:00 PM – 11:00 AM, Saturday 11:00 PM – 11:00 AM, Thursday or Sunday 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 5th shift: Saturday: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM, Sunday: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM, Monday or Friday 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
What's the Job?
- Set up and operate CNC machinery to produce aerospace and industrial components
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and process sheets to ensure accurate manufacturing
- Use measurement tools such as gauges and micrometers to verify part dimensions
- Maintain records of production and quality checks
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read and understand dimensional blueprints
- Experience with measurement equipment such as gauges and mics
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment performing setup roles
- Legal authorization to work in the US
