1.5 Pay over 8 hours, over 40 hours and weekends.
1.5 pay on holidays, plus additional overtime over 8 hours on holidays.
Stipend for safety shoes after 6 months.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work as part of a team in support of a manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity; decreasing downtime and waste.
Receive and follow directions from the Operator and/or Supervisor.
Assume active role in overall plant and facilities-related work. Position requires assisting all jobs on the plant floor.
Help to ensure that quality checks are performed before, during and upon completion of each order.
Inspect machine during run and notify Operator when acceptable parts are not being produced.
Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.
Maintain shop and shop equipment per 5S Standards.
May be required to stack parts up to 30 lbs. for a period of up to 12 hours.
Other duties as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Graduate or GED.
Ability to pass Pre-employment Background Check and Drug Test.
Ability to work any shift, including overtime and weekends as needed.
Must be able to work overtime up to 12 hours per day and multiple Saturdays per year.
Must be able to Sit, Stoop, and Bend.
Be passionate about maintaining a safe work environment.
Must be able to read and write basic English instructions.
Must demonstrate 6+ months of continuous previous employment.
Must have a good attendance record.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment is preferred.
Possess an understanding that temperatures and volumes of work may vary.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Must be willing to work closely on a day-to-day basis with other production personnel.
Ability to share ideas with others to solve problems of essential importance.
