Join a team staffing a new freestanding behavioral health building opening 2025. Full-time (0.8 FTE) Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist role in Southwest Ohio; permanent employed position covering behavioral health inpatient and weekend shifts (Saturday & Sunday) with five weekends off/year; night call 3–5 nights/month; inpatient consults, med management, supervision of residents/fellows. Location: Southwest Ohio children's hospital. Contract: permanent. - Board certified in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry

Children's Hospital seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
--This is a fulltime (0.8 FTE) employed position with competitive salary and a comprehensive benefit package.
--This position will cover the behavioral health unit and weekends Saturday and Sunday.
--Provider will have five weekends off a year.
--This is a new opportunity for staffing the new free-standing behavioral health building currently under construction opening in 2025.
--This new building will allow the hospital to double the number of behavioral health inpatient beds currently available at the hospital, allow expansion for specialized program development and allow for strengthened and smoother continuity of care by bringing behavioral health inpatient, outpatient and crisis services.
--Provide initial psychiatric evaluations and follow-up medication management in consult and inpatient setting.
--Supervise psychiatric residents and child psychiatry fellows the University
--Provide weekend coverage to inpatient psychiatric unit: every 6-8 weeks.
--Provide night call for psychiatric service 3-5 nights per month
--Candidates must be board certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
