Join Our Team as a Locum OB/GYN Physician in Beautiful Enumclaw, WA Are you an experienced OB/GYN physician seeking a rewarding locum opportunity in a scenic community setting? We are seeking a dedicated Locum OB/GYN to provide exceptional call coverage at St. Elizabeth Hospital, a critical access hospital committed to delivering high-quality maternal and gynecological care. Position Overview This full-time locum position involves providing OB/GYN call coverage in a busy hospital and clinic environment. You will manage routine and high-risk obstetric cases, perform gynecological surgeries, and support patient care in a collaborative setting with shared responsibilities among multiple specialties. The hospital's dedicated emergency and obstetric teams rely on your expertise for both emergent and scheduled procedures, including C-sections, OB inductions, and complex deliveries. Required Skills Active and unrestricted OB/GYN medical license in Washington State Proven experience in obstetrics and gynecology, including C-sections and high-risk pregnancies Comfortable handling OB inductions, emergent GYN surgeries, and delivering both routine and complicated deliveries Skilled in repairing 3rd-4th degree lacerations Ability to interpret fetal monitoring and FHR patterns accurately Proficient in managing low and high-risk pregnancies with an emphasis on patient safety Capable of supervising and assisting with OB procedures and surgeries as needed Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes via cell phone Nice to Have Skills Experience working in a critical access hospital or rural setting Familiarity with Epic EMR systems Skills in managing VBACs and a variety of gynecological surgeries Ability to support and supervise OB and GYN procedures in a small hospital environment Prior experience with emergent GYN surgeries and obstetric emergencies Preferred Education and Experience Medical degree from an accredited institution Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology At least 2 years of post-residency clinical experience in OB/GYN Prior locum or hospital-based practice preferred Other Requirements Credentialing completed within three months of start date Valid WA state medical license and DEA license BLS/ACLS certifications Compliance with hospital-specific credentialing and re-credentialing policies Ability to travel locally, with preferred lodging arrangements including hotels or Airbnbs Willingness to work approximately 6-8 call shifts per month, averaging 20-30 deliveries/month, including high-risk cases occasionally transferred from other facilities Must be comfortable managing both routine and complex obstetric and gynecological cases in a low to high risk setting This is an exceptional opportunity to join a compassionate healthcare team in the scenic Pacific Northwest.
