Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) provide independent anesthesia care for a variety of surgical cases including OB, orthopedic, and pediatric procedures in a trauma level 3 hospital setting. The role involves no direct supervision, requiring comfort with independent practice and availability during standard weekday hours without call or weekends. Board certification and licensure are mandatory, with experience preferred, and the practice uses EPIC EMR in a 150-bed hospital environment.

Schedule: 40-hours per week guaranteed - M-F (8am-5pm) No call, no weekends.
Work Details:
Support Staff: Currently Independent practice CRNAs perform their own Pre-Op, Regional Blocks (encourage, but not required), etc. They are not directly supervised by MDAs, so must be comfortable with no supervision/being independent. A physician is typically available to assist for difficulties, but CRNAs should plan to be independent providers.
Department description: Trauma Level 3
Case Mix: It would be OB 25-50% and OR 50-75%. MUST be comfy with OB. There are an avg of 1,500 births annually at Nampa. The types of cases they do- Ortho, Gyn, ENT (only healthy peds), 1-2 level back fusions, laminectomies, Davinci Gyn and urology, Endo, cardioversions and peds dental.
