Assignment Details
• Coverage Type: In-House Shift Coverage
• Setting: Inpatient - Level IV NICU
• Start: ASAP
• Location: Long Beach, CA
• Shift Options:
- Weekdays: 8a-4p, 3p-9a, or 24-hour combined - Weekends: Fri 3p-Sat 9a Sat 9a-Sun 9a Sun 9a-Mon 9a
• Call: None
• Credentialing: Standard process with required prescreen questionnaire
Clinical Details
• Provide comprehensive management of Level IV NICU patients, including ventilator and advanced neonatal critical care.
• Perform or oversee complex neonatal procedures in collaboration with nursing and respiratory staff.
• Manage admissions, discharges, and daily rounds for critically ill newborns.
• Participate in multidisciplinary care planning, ensuring continuity with perinatal and pediatric subspecialties.
Requirements
• Board Certified in Neonatology
• Active California medical license
• Recent experience within the past 12 months
• Level IV NICU experience required
• Completed prescreen questionnaire (required for submission)
