Position Overview: We are currently seeking a qualified Nephrology Physician for a locum tenens assignment in North Dakota. This opportunity is in a well-established hospital and clinic setting in central North Dakota. Providers will have a unique chance to work with a dedicated healthcare team in a facility where patient care and service are the top priorities. Position Details: Job Type: Locum Tenens (Temporary) Specialty: Nephrology Schedule: Start Date: January 3, 2025 Flexible shifts, including: Inpatient rounding Half-day outpatient clinic 24-hour on-call coverage on select days Some weekend and overnight on-call coverage is required Shift Descriptions: Standard hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Overnight on-call (5:00 PM - 8:00 AM) 24-hour on-call coverage for select dates Compensation Rates: Hourly: $351 - $365 Nightly Call: $701 - $800 (includes 2.5 hours gratis) Daily On-Call: $2,816 - $2,915 (includes 4 hours gratis) Holiday Rates: 1.5x standard hourly rate Requirements: Licensure: North Dakota medical license preferred; will consider candidates in the licensure process. Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nephrology; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Experience: Clean malpractice and background history preferred. Experience with inpatient nephrology, outpatient clinics, and plasmapheresis procedures. Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Experience with Epic is preferred. Facility Details: Setting: Inpatient rounding in a hospital with an adjacent outpatient clinic and dialysis unit. Support: Two dedicated RNs available for support in the inpatient and outpatient settings. On-Call Duties: Call coverage includes support for two dialysis units in western North Dakota, with on-call responsibilities to manage urgent inquiries as needed. Travel and Accommodations: Lodging: Lodging will be reimbursed per standard rates. Air Travel: Reimbursed up to $750 round-trip. Rental Car: Daily cap of $65 (including taxes and fees). Mileage: Reimbursed at IRS standard rates. Credentialing: Standard credentialing timeframe applies. Emergency credentialing may be available if needed.
