Job Details:
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Patient ratio of 1:6 with 20 rooms and average daily census of 18
• Work with adult to geriatric patient population
• Focus on renal care including HD catheter management, manual PD/PD cycler, sepsis, telemetry monitoring, ETOH (CIWA), UTI, CKD, and HTN emergency
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred
• Skills required: interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, telemetry monitoring
• Use Epic charting system, Pyxis, and SBAR communication
• Scrub colors: Navy, white, or combinations
• Work every other weekend unless specified elsewhere
• Floating required to like units
• No call requirements
• Holiday work expectations based on number of major holidays during assignment period
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Work with special equipment including cycler for dialysis
• Full compliance required to start on time
• Georgia or compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
