Job Details:
• Work varied schedule as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for emergency patients
• Provide direct patient care utilizing specialized emergency nursing knowledge and skills
• Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and developmental needs
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data with timely reporting of abnormal results
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary team
• Delegate appropriately and supervise licensed and non-licensed personnel
• Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies
• Participate in quality improvement activities and professional development
• Must possess current valid RN license in state of practice or compact licensure
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required within past 12 months
• Experience in emergency department specialty area preferred
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations
