Facility Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Physician to join our Anesthesia Team in Muskegon, Michigan. This state-of-the-art hospital is designated as a Level 2 trauma center and features 20 operating rooms, 5 heart and vascular rooms, 6 endoscopy rooms, and 2 c-section suites. Our care team model promotes a professional, confident, and friendly working environment, allowing for collaboration and the opportunity to perform anesthesia directly.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide medical direction over CRNAs while having the opportunity to personally perform anesthesia.
- Manage a diverse range of cases, including orthopedic, gynecology, ENT, complex vascular, neurosurgery, and full-scope cardiothoracic cases.
- Participate in a Surgical Optimization Service to enhance surgical efficiency and patient care quality.
- Utilize advanced regional anesthesia techniques for better recovery outcomes.
- Share and rotate holidays and weekends within the group to ensure flexibility.
- Accept new graduate candidates and provide training for necessary procedures.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
- Strong interest in full-time or part-time employment.
- Proficiency in peripheral nerve blocks or willingness to acquire skills.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Michigan medical license (or willingness to obtain).
- DEA certification (or willingness to obtain).
- ACLS and BLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
