Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for an acute care hospital, requiring SLP-CCC certification and at least 3 years of acute care experience.
Responsibilities
- Position is in an acute care hospital setting
- Works with patients requiring speech and language pathology interventions
- Uses Cerner for electronic medical records
- Performs MBSlmP procedures
- Schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
- Requires one weekend day each week
- Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Must be able to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Must be available to work one weekend day each week
Requirements
- Current SLP-CCC certification required
- Minimum of 3 years of acute care experience required
- Active Maryland SLP license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification required
- MBSlmP proficiency required
- Cerner EMR experience required
