· Number of Beds – 500+
· Number of Staff – For Speech Dept, there are 6 FT/PT and 3 PRN’s
· Type of staff:
o Day Shift – 0800-1630
o Night Shift – N/A
· Patient Ratios – N/A
· Type of equipment – TIMS, Vents, PMV’s
· EMR - Meditech
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
· Experience in acute care setting
· Experience completing MBS
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
· PMV/trach/vent experience
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
· Dysphasia eval and treat, Speech/Language/Cog eval and treat, PMV eval and treat
· MBS
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
· CA SLP license, current BLS
