Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Surgical Oncology position requiring a TX or compact RN license and chemotherapy certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital-based Surgical Oncology unit
- Caring for adult oncology and surgical patients
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- 13-week assignment
- Must provide high-quality nursing care to oncology and surgical patients
- Candidates with prior experience in surgical oncology are preferred
- Compliance with hospital-specific orientation and policies required
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in oncology nursing
- Chemotherapy (ONC) certification required
- American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS accepted and must remain active through the first 30 days of assignment
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
