Locum Tenens Opportunity for a Physician Specializing in Traumatic Brain Injury/General Medicine Location: Near Cheyenne, WYDates: ASAP - Ongoing We are seeking board-certified physicians to perform a combination of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury exams. This opportunity is ideal for those looking to provide essential healthcare services to veterans while working on a PRN basis. As a physician working in this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting veterans by conducting non-treatment exams in a structured and rewarding environment. You'll have the flexibility to choose between two coverage options: traveling to perform exams at leased facilities or scheduling exams within your own practice. Job Details: Schedule: PRN basis with flexible shifts, either half-days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours). Exam Types: Non-treatment Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams Separation health assessments Exams include: Primarily interview-based assessments Some physical assessments including range of motion and muscle strength testing Evaluation of traumatic brain injuries No treatment or prescribing required. Certification and Requirements: Must be Board Certified in any of the following specialties: Neurology Neurosurgery Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) State license required in Wyoming. Additional Qualifications: Proficient in using a goniometer. Familiarity with musculoskeletal, diabetes, and cardiovascular conditions is essential. Skilled in METs testing and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions. Must own a personal laptop (no MACs). Benefits: Quick credentialing and onboarding.
