- Provide independent emergency medicine coverage for an 18-bed ED with full access to radiology, lab, OR, and cardiology support.
- Perform initial evaluations, procedures, and stabilization for a range of adult and pediatric emergencies.
- Collaborate with APPs and respond to in-hospital codes as part of the ED and hospitalist code team.
- Admit patients through hospitalist coordination; manage transfers for specialty cases.
- No Fast Track area; single-provider model supported by APP coverage on select shifts. Requirements
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine (with 2+ years of EM experience)
- Active Michigan medical license
- DEA registration
- ACLS, ATLS, PALS (for non-EM boarded physicians), and BLS required
- Local provider required - no travel candidates
- Clean background for expedited credentialing Compensation
