Requirements- BLS by AHA
- Case Mgmt Certification (preferred)
- Minimum Experience: 1 year
- First-Time Travelers: Accepted
Scheduling & Work Requirements- Weekends: Every other weekend
- On-Call Requirement: None
- Block Scheduling: Not required
- Floating: Yes, based on unit needs
- 48-Hour Schedule: Not approved
Staffing Expectations- Expected Caseload Ratio: 1:20
Special Requirements- Reliable personal vehicle required for this assignment
Floating Expectations & LocationsTravelers should expect to float based on skill set and operational needs.
AYA Healthcare professionals may be required to float to other units and facilities within PH&S, including:
- Milwaukie
- Newberg
- Portland
- Hood River
- Willamette Falls
- Seaside
- Saint Vincent
Seaside Floating Incentives- If assigned to a non-Seaside facility and asked to float to Seaside:
- +$5/hour incentive for all hours worked at Seaside
- IRS mileage reimbursement provided
- Hotel accommodation will be offered if floating for consecutive shifts
- Facility will provide as much advance notice as possible for Seaside floating
