Responsibilities: As an Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in patient care, serving as the primary point of contact for assessments. Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive patient assessments
Writing prescriptions for physical therapy, imaging, and durable medical equipment (DME) such as lumbar spine orthotics and neck bracing
Administering injections and managing infusion procedures
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic patient care
Ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters
Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification
Strong background in orthopedic care, with a focus on spine health
Experience in prescribing and managing treatment plans, including physical therapy and DME
Proficiency in administering injections and handling infusion procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
