Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Observation Unit
FT Night Shift - (Hours: 7p -7a) Weekend & Holidays - per the department's guidelines.

ChristianaCare Wilmington Hospital is looking to hire an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to work in our newly renovated Medical Observation Unit.
Unit Information
3 Medical Observation Unit (3MOU) is an 8-bed unit dedicated to the care of adult medical patients admitted under observation status. Common diagnoses include, but are not limited to, ruling out stroke, syncope, and chest pain-conditions that require further evaluation and testing beyond the Emergency Department. As an observation-only unit, 3MOU offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment characterized by high patient turnover. The average length of stay typically falls between 12-32 hours. Patients who require inpatient care will be transitioned from 3MOU to the appropriate inpatient unit. Team members on 3MO will also have the opportunity to cross-train on 3 West, Wilmington Hospital's 9-bed cardiac care unit. 3 West focuses on the care of short-stay patients with primary cardiac diagnoses, offering staff a diverse and enriching clinical experience.

Education & Experience Requirements:
- DE RN license or Compact RN license.
- BSN preferred or the commitment to obtaining a BSN within 3 years date of hire.
- All applicants must have two years of RN experience. Acute care or sub-acute care experience is preferred.
- BLS required.
Hourly Pay Range: $41.28 - $66.05This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
