About the Role

We're looking for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a background in internal medicine and a genuine interest in developing long-term, trust-based patient relationships.

Core Responsibilities

In partnership with our internal medicine physician, the Nurse Practitioner will:

• Deliver comprehensive care through in-depth evaluations (routine, urgent, and follow-up visits)

• Diagnose and treat common acute conditions such as infections, minor injuries, and dermatological concerns

• Manage chronic health issues like hypertension, diabetes, and lipid disorders

• Provide both telehealth and in-person consultations

• Handle lab reviews, prescription management, and patient communications

• Coordinate care with specialists and assist in navigating referrals

• Perform clinical tasks such as EKGs, phlebotomy, vaccinations, and basic procedures

• Educate patients on long-term wellness strategies and lifestyle modifications

• Participate in occasional home visits or after-hours care (optional and flexible)

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted NP license in Washington, D.C.

• Board certification as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in internal medicine or primary care

• Comfortable working autonomously, yet values team collaboration

• Proficient in using electronic medical records (e.g., Elation, eClinicalWorks, Athena)

• A patient-first mindset with a focus on empathy, service, and clinical excellence
