Neonatologist Job Details

Neonatologist Qualifications

• Board Certified in Neonatology (required for all neonatologist jobs)
• Active California medical license (required for California healthcare jobs)
• Recent experience managing a Level IV NICU caseload within the past 12 months (required)
• Minimum 1 year of neonatology experience in a clinical setting

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver in-house coverage for a Level IV NICU, managing critically ill neonates
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide comprehensive neonatal care
• Participate in a rotating shift schedule, including days, nights, and weekends as needed
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities
• Support families and provide education regarding neonatal conditions and advanced treatments
