Registered Nurse - PCU
Job Details:
• Work 36/36 or 36/48 schedule with rotating weekends
• No call responsibilities required
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Accepts first-time travelers
• Must live 100 miles from the facility
• Required certifications: AHA BLS (AHA ACLS and NIH preferred)
• Telemetry experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• 16 hours of non-billable orientation with general orientation beginning on Sundays
• Must participate in nursing student support and clinical education
• Hospital may cancel/call off one shift biweekly without financial penalty if census decreases
• Additional overtime shifts may be flexed based on hospital census needs
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must complete drug test 12-14 calendar days prior to start date
• Facial hair must be trimmed or removed for CDC fit testing guidelines
• 4-5 hours of non-billable modules completed during orientation
• Care for adult patients in hybrid PCU/MedSurg department with 17 daily census
• Work with 19 beds and interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams
